Question PLEASE HELP - Part Count Setting on DMG MORI CELLOS Controller

Greetings to everyone reading this post,
Can someone explain how is part count configured on NHX 5500 machines (DMG MORI), and how to change part count settings on the CELOS Controller?
I am currently working on a MTConnect project for my internship, and the project is about reading macro variables storing probing results on a NHX 5500 machine. My idea is to monitor the timestamp for each incremented part count and the value stored in the desired macro variable for that part. I assumed that the part count only increments when a part is done, but I am getting part count data much more frequent than I thought, and I have no idea what the machine is using as an indication to increase part count.

Any answer would be greatly appreciated,

I wish you all the best in your career.

On NHX 5500 machines with a CELOS controller, the part count is managed through
PMC (Programmable Machine Controller) logic or macro variables defined in the part program.
The machine doesn’t inherently know when a part is completed unless it’s explicitly programmed to do so.
