Hi,
I do not have any experience with the PoKeys 57CNC, but has a long history of good service with many users.
All development of Mach3 ceased nearly nine years ago. Notwithstanding that it still works and has a loyal fanbase it is obsolete.
Mach4 is current and still growing. I've been using Mach4 and an Ethernet SmoothStepper for 8.5 years, and its light years ahead of Mach3.

I have experience with pokeys57cnc in Mach3, and it works perfectly. It's a bit difficult to configure correctly, but once you get it right, and with at least an i5 computer, it works perfectly. Also, since the control is via Ethernet, you can have the computer in one place and the machine at any distance, without any problems. In my case, I have a dedicated Wi-Fi network just for communication between the computer and pokeys, and it works perfectly.
