Cutting Depth Issues with 2-Sided machining on MeshCAM

Hello,

Need some insight.

Setting up two sided machining for a part.

My issue is around the cutting depths. Part is centred in stock. Stock is square and square to table.
Cutting the "top" file is successful. When I flip the part and run the Gcode it cuts too deep and removes material it shouldn't.

My cutting depth is currently set to the middle of the part but on the "bottom" tool path the geometry is beyond the mid-point of the part.
When running this code it does not cut the geometry i need it to cut.
When I switch and set the cutting depth to the bottom of the stock and run the "bottom" code, an extra .125" of material is removed. Almost like the centre line of the geometry is overlapping somehow.

I've attached the files I think someone might need to help me out.

Can you post the .mcf file? It's really hard to say without seeing the geometry and the setup.

Yeah, you really need to post the model and job files for us to really know what's going on.

Very green as you can tell and very stumped.

Which file is it you are looking for?
I'm taking an STL file created on Rhino, importing to MeshCAM and creating the Gcode and then opening in Mach3.

We'll also need the .mcf file, which is what you can save other than G-code out of Meshcam. This file will have all of your setup parameters for Meshcam in it, otherwise we don't have any way of telling you what you may be doing wrong. Go to "File -> Save Job" with the file open and set up as you have it, then post the file that results.
