It seems to have a high failure rate and each time it happens there is less expectation that it will be restored.
I thought David might have checked in here by now.

I meant because David is an admin on the CB forum and he checks in several times a day he is certainly aware the forum is down.

It does not seem to be due to the CamBam forum. A traceroute shows that a node in GB is down:
