Solidworks file with sketch.
We often send out Solidworks files for other shops to mill blocks for my shop to wire edm.
In house we apply a 2d sketch on the top surface of the block in Solidworks with sketched circles where and what size we want the wire start hole.
It works perfect as CamWorks wire will search for those holes and start the profile there.
We are trying to find a way to export the file and have the sketches go with the solid data? Shops using Fusion 360 can’t seem to see the sketches?
Any suggestions from the Fusion 360 folks?

Re: Solidworks file with sketch.
As far as I know you can't do it directly with Fusion. But this plug in will allow it.
Install the plug in per the instructions at the link...

Step one. Export your IGES file in Solidworks. Use the "Options" button and check "export sketch entities" and "export 3D curves" Then save the file
Step two. Upload the IGES in to Fusion. Open the file.
Step Three. In the "Utility" tab open the "Utility" drop down menu to run the "import 3D curves" and select your IGES files again.
You should now have the curves you wanted.
