tool change position on a mazak nexus mill 640m

I measure a tool in semi-auto, then i do a tool change to measure another tool in semi auto, is there a way to change the tool change position so the table won,t move in y axis? because i would like not to have to move the y axis again to measure the next tool. Somebody asked me that question and i couldn't answer.

No you cannot stop the movement of any axis during tool change mode because it is a macro type program ste up at the factory for safety reasons.
