Setting direction for "Planar"? v.26
I just can't find a way to do it.I'm doing a roundover on two edgese. The tool starts at the top for the right edge, but at the bottom for the left. I suppose if I chose "Conventional Mill" for the left it would reverse and start at the top, but then I'd be cutting the wrong way. Maybe because I've chosen "Zig and Zag" it doesn't matter? Is that why the choice isn't offered?

Contours with a profile strategy ??

I am choosing a surface for geometry, so I don't see setting a contour as relevant. The toolpath works fine though, even though the start point is reversed for the left and right portions.

Maybe try this It looks like this may work for you
In V26 we have the copy paste for the Feature I picked half and set the Lace Angle at 0 in the first feature and then picked the other half in the second copied feature with Lace Angle at 180
Both Feature are in Zig Zag
The second pic. I set the 1st feature at Zig, 180 Lace and Conv cut
2nd feature at Zig, 0 Lace and Conv cut
Looks like this gives a climb cut in both side starting at tops
Hope this may help

Threw me off, thought you were speaking as in a round over tool
