I've been using Yonico 31011-SC (1/8 single flute 18deg flute angle 1/2 LOC) for aluminium on my CNC router. Not a stellar cutter but for half the price of Amana or Onsrud. For hobby jobs, I'm happy with it.
They now have the 31012-SC. Same specs as the 31011-SC but the flute angle is 22deg. The price is about the same.
Will 3deg make a difference? Will a bigger angle help chip evacuation? Will this affect longevity?
