Fanuc 0iMD - Expand CNC memory

Hello, I have a Fanuc control 0iMD 512kb memory. I have understood that is expandable to 2MB making a parameter change. Anyone know how to do this?

Afaik, the max part program memory for that control is 512k. It CANNOT be increased.

Hello, so in the end can you change the memory limitation on the machine or not.
If yes i would like to know aswell.

It cannot be changed without a major software change.

Have since learned that the maximum is 2MB and needs a new memory module as well as option change.
We are working on it.
