Bridgeport EZ-Vision Connection
I have recently purchased a cad-cam solution that has post processors for the Bridgeport EZ-Vision Converse. Can anyone tell me how I can port the pc to the control unit to upload g-codes? I don't see a DB25 parallel port like the EZ-Trak. Do I connect using the usb ports or ethernet port instead? I see a serial port, but I'm assuming it is to connect another display. Any help would be greatly appreciated, because our shop would like to get past the "canned" cycles that it comes with.
Editing a program from cad
If it works similar to the EZtrak, you can. On the EZtrak you go to edit, then cursor down to the line you would like to edit and hit the revise line key and it should pop up the same dialog box that you would use as if your were writing a program at the control. Then you can change any value you choose.
I think the control is great, some don't like it.
Good luck, Pete
