1990 VF1 Parameters Corrupted?

I am trying to bring a 1990 VF1 back to life. You guys have all been a big help on a couple things so far! Thanks.

I was unable to work on the machine for a couple months and when I got back to it there were new problems:
There were multiple over heat alarms and 203 Lead Screw CRC error.
Also the machine will only move with jog handle at one speed, regardless of which speed I set it at.

I have not had any low battery alarm and there is 3V at the back up battery.

I solved the over heat alarms because the parameters had somehow switched, low battery??

It seems like reinstalling the parameters would be a good start now.
Do I need to get those from Haas or is there another source?

I would start with contacting Haas. Not sure if they hold records for machines that old, but worth a try. Otherwise they should be able to get you a standard set of parameters that should work also, but don't be surprised if they need a little tweaking.

+1 Contact your HFO.

They may need to replace the processor.

Machine parameters are linked with the serial number of the machine. The tech at the local HFO e mailed the ones for my 2002 no problem.

I got mine for a 1995 machine. Was told they were not on the computer but on paper. Was told it required some digging but I got scanned copies emailed to me. Outstanding service on an old machine!
