anybody tried to cut Kevlar???

Was wondering if anyone has ever tried to cut 2.4mm Kevlar and what was the results.

If so what power laser did you have?

Any delamination?

Cutting kevlar with a laser really shouldnt be a problem. The problem with kevlar is that the strands are so strong when doing a repair the strands will not break unless you sit there and cut them with a razor knife.

Cutting should be no different than carbon fiber or even fiberglass.
