2XiF spindle bearing type and machine age/serial number question!

Hi all,

Sorry for the silly questions but my local agents are fricken useless and not helping.

We have a Mycentre 2XiF in storage and a potential buyer is asking some questions that i cant answer.

1. Does the spindle have ceramic bearings or steel roller/ball bearing cartridge?

2. Is thee any way to work out the year of manufacture from the serial number? As the machines are in storage i cannot get to them easily to see if there is anything on it to tell. - If i have to go there, where would it be stamped? The plate with info and serial number doesn't have the date on it??
