Any Redsail M500 or WKlaser Storm500 owner here ?

Hi. Im new here so let me introduce myself. Im from Malaysia and make props for fun. Lately ive been using acrylic and cutting them with dremal is just too time consuming and paying other ppl to cut it for me is just to expensive in a long run. Wanted to make my life slightly easier by purchasing one. I have been wondering here for a while reading some threads (sadly lots of it is a few years old). My only purpose is to cut cardstock, EVA foam, 3-6mm acrylic and if possible 3mm MDF.

I have been emailing back and forth with WKlaser (Storm500) and Redsail (M500). My budget is $2000. At first i wanted to get those 40w K40 laser cutter but decided not to because of bad reviews. Any of guys here using either Storm500 or M500 ? Im currently leaning towards M500 because of the higher tube watt and upgrade to 60w. But looks like more ppl are using WKlaser here. just, is 35w be enough power ? Any comments or opinions ?

Hi, Ferretbite, with the budget of USD2000, you can think about our LG3040 mini desktop model, that can be equipped with 60W and is quite a good machine.

anyway,wk40 laser is out of date

how much exactly would LG3040 cost ? with the 60w tube ?

the 40w i mentioned is Shensui K40. Obviously my first search is the cheapest. thats why im willing to spend a lil bit extra for something hopefully better.
