The Hurco upgrade to LinuxCNC is largely complete.
But now, there's the head. The head has at least the following problems:
-Excessive quill runout. Maybe as much as 0.005 inches.
-The brakes don't work at all.
-Low gear makes unhappy noises.
Considering a head rebuild. Interested in any information about this operation. Or parts like bearings, brake shoes, gears.
