I recently bought a Taig ball screw mill and it has a shorter x travel than the old standard mill. Are there any thing to do about that? Will it be pssible to cut the end stop plate in any ways so it goes a bit longer?

Depends on how it was built.
Anything could be in the way, even the ball nut head itself.
Need decent images.
I think you will need a longer ball screw but that will only be practical if the end support bracket (one one end) can be extended to give you a bit more travel.....how much more travel will depend on the design of the machine itself.
The CNC mill I have was fitted with a double ball nut on the X axis and that meant having an extended end support bracket specially made for it.

My old standard mill didnĀ“t have any stop plate at all at that side so the end of the screw hang freely in the air at that side and that allowed the x slide to travel 4 - 5 cm more. My thought was that it maybe was possible to cut the stop plate and the plate it run into in a way that allow the stop plate to drive through that area and further inwards towards the nut like the standard x slide did.
Here is a picture of the standard x slide end and as you can see there is no stop plate there.
