Newbie needs help! Matra fanuc tape cut w2 1988
Classic battery fail. Parameterlist was found in the cabinet but error 436 persists.
Maintenance manual tells "Disconnection alarm", but operator's manual tells "parameter setting failure".
Can anyone help?

More info.
U-axis moves in the smallest increment +- but if I try 0.01mm increment instant 436 U-servo alarm.
I have a paper copy "parameter on digital servo (for Wseries) it list values for 8300, 8301, 8316, 8317, 8318, 8319,8320.
Parameters 8322-8362 are random numbers / 0.

436 alarm could be 'soft disconnection alarm'.
Record the value in parameter 2064 (to put back if test does not work) for the U axis then make it 100 for test to see if the symptom changes.

Thank you for helping, but life is not too easy for us now...
Parameter 2064 reads 0, I have "parameter write enabled" on, but I can't input value 100 (or anything).

It looks like 436 U-servo alarm was a typo in my parameters.
I checked them several times but allways something was off.....
And now a new problem : The wire tension used to be something like 1200 (units?), now machine offers 120 but still the wire breaks instantly when I put the wire rolling ja the tension on.
It seems like a parameter setting problem, but I just can't find it.
Can anyone guide me in the right direction?
