I just got a mid 90s Supermax with Fanuc 0m controller. It was doing tool changes in a program and mdi, but now it is stopping after the carousel comes into the spindle to grab the tool. I checked the limit switch and it ohms out. Its not giving an alarm but don’t know how long it would take to throw.
i have also been trying a tool change every day or so, sometimes i can get it to change, then 5 minutes later it will stall after the carousel moves forward to grab the tool. when it does this i do not hear the tool unclamp. i tried it using the manual tool change sequence and i could move the carousel forward, unclamp the tool, but when pushing the mag down buttton it wouldnt move.
