My name is Marcel, live in Spain but am originally dutch. New to CNC. Am engineer on a cutter suction dredger and am fascinated by the possibilities that can be done with the cnc machines.
First i would like to get familiar with drawing in 3d before i buy a machine, already have projects in mind i guess it is going to be a router.
Just donĀ“t know witch one jet or what size, so many choices and of-course the Chinese marked.

Thanks for the add. I work in 3D software development and have been tinkering in the shed for most of my life- but new to CNC. I am in two minds about buying a CNC router out the box, buying a kit and assembling it, or doing it from scratch. At this stage leaning towards the latter & getting a small CNC mill to learn and build a decent size router.

im Stefan from Germany and I got a CNC3040 some weeks ago, and will use it for making Slotcar Chassis and such.
Allready changed the old electronics to an GRBL Shield with Arduino, put limit switches on, and right now im on the spoil plate.
