Hi, I am Darin. I Live in Northern California. I have ran some production CNC machines Biesse rover, and Weeke 140, 150, and BP12. In the last year I have taken an interest in building my own machine for home use. It has been very successful, but I am in the process of making the spindle automated and converting it to an ethernet controller from the old printer port machine. I dont know much, but am willing to help and learn
Hello to all. I'm a newbie in the cnc-world., but really care this.
I'm living in Hungary.
Top 'a the evenin' to ya fellow CNCZoners! I'm a 5th year student at FHCI in KW, Ontario and I will soon, hopefully, be venturing into a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering at Conestoga. In that program I may be going into a competition final project where I build a sort of car from a CAD design made by yours truly and my classmates. This is going to be a rough, but exciting next 5 years for me, and I hope to be a help here on this forum!
Hi Im newbie CNC from Thailand. Look for new experience of CNC machine!

Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone.
I am based in South Africa and just bought myself a twin spindle 4 axis cnc router. I now need to work out how to use the thing properly :drowning:
Does anyone have any experience using a Richauto controller with their 4 axis machine?
Eben
Hello everybody. New CNC member from Spain.
delete-wrong place to post it.
Hi, i am Matthew, i live Poland, i am working in the Polish water meters factory - "FILA", Assistant to the head of the machining department, also since 1 year I was interested in programming and operation Milling CNC machine, in work occasionally I'm learning to working he Polish CNC Milling machine AFM R550 "Harnaś" and often working chinese CNC 3040 Router, i do g-code programs on HSM Inventor and Artcam.

Hello. My name is Max, I'm from Ukraine. I want to learn how to design and produce the best CNC machines :)
Also I want to learn technical English..
Hi;
This is Rafael from Northeast Spain.
I'm newby builder -will be- router. I start from zero.
Looking for helping hand from all members.
Glad to be here.
Hi, i am a high school teacher in new zealand, keen to get some cnc into my school, but too many other things to spend budget on. I have 2 3d printers and an obsolete router /engraver. I am considering retrofitting new circuitry into the router. Slowly working out what's required to do the conversion.
Dennis Nelson, I am a Data Center technician and am looking to build a CNC router for myself as a hobby.
Adding a desktop CNC to my "build weird stuff" arsenal. I currently have a dual-extruder 3D printer and want to work in material other than plastic. I see CNC as a good complement to 3D.
I just purchased a 6040 4-axis CNC from eBay with a 1.5KW VFD, 800W spindle and controller labeled SX-CNC and likely JP3163B with a UC100/UCCNC clone. I was originally looking at Shapeoko, X-Carve, and others, but the 6040 + upgrades will likely be less than the base cost of the others and I wanted a more solid machine for some light metal working.
After initial setup and testing, I plan on getting the official UC100 controller and software and replace the TB6560 drivers with DM542s. While Gecko is "the" driver board, I like the idea of being able to replace piecemeal, rather than needing to replace a whole system in case of a component failure.
New power supply and shielded cables and then decide if I want to replace the steppers, spindle, and/or VFD.
I'm also looking for a 2.5/3D CAM program. My goto for 3D printing is Openscad, and I'd like to find something comparable for machining.
Every time I search for general information on the Chinese CNC I end up here, so figured it was time to register. :)
Hi, my name is Justin. I'm currently building a CNC with my 3D printer and am looking to learn more about this interesting trade.
