Daewoo Puma 2500SY 2005y M88/M89 spindle clamp doesn't work
Hello guys,
I am new here but I read the forum for quite a long time.
Some time ago we have bought an used Daewoo Puma 2500sy from 2005 with Fanuc 18itb. Recently, we noticed that the main spindle clamp is not working.
After current measurements, we know that there is no 110v to solenoid coils out from the I/O module. The module (AOR16G) has been already exchanged, but nothing changed - the clamp is still not working.
After solenoid coils measurements, it looks that they are fine. The sub spindle clamp (M188/M189) works well.
What do You think about my issue? I am planing to exchange the AID module as well, but maybe some of You already had that (or similar) problem?
I think that it can be a signal issue, but the LEDS change when got the signal from the panel.
Thank You in advance for all suggestions.
Regards,
Arek

Hello guys,
I am still fighting with this problem. The new AID16D module did not help...
I started thinking about the relays, maybe the previous owner changed something. Can anyone who work with the Daewoo/Doosan Puma 2000/2500SY send me a picture of own keep relays table?
I am open for all, even the strangest suggestions!
Regards,
Arek

If you don't have documentation, call Doosan in Pine Brook, NJ.

I no longer work for Doosan, but next week I will start a new job with similar access to Doosan information.
What is the machine's serial number? (found on the placard, located near the main power switch)
What is the Electrical Hardware version? (found on the placard, located near the main power switch)
What is the ladder version?
Press the <SYSTEM> hard key
Press the <PMC> softkey (depending on Fanuc model)
Press the <PMCPRM> or <PMCCONFIG> (depending on Fanuc model)
Press the <TITLE> softkey
There is a field: PROGRAM DRAWING NUMBER (it is in the middle of the page)
It contains a LONG alphanumeric sequence, separated by a comma or colon...and then another alphanumeric sequence
I need the WHOLE code...everything in that field.
From this information, I can see why the machine does anything and everything related to IO

Thank You so much!
I will be waiting for You.
So it's PM25H68BA03 I mistook B with 8 and not 6 with G :)
Have a nice day!

Re: Daewoo Puma 2500SY 2005y M88/M89 spindle clamp doesn't work
Hello guys,
I am after another verification of my problems. This time, we checked the blue book and the ladder program.
I did read the fanuc's I/O modules manual and analysed the real LED's states inside the cabinet. Unfortunately, from what I saw it's very likely that I have no M88/M89 signal on the AOR16G output module. After pushing the M88/M89, the module changed it's state, even turn off the B5 LED (unclamp), but did not send anything to the B3 (low clamp) or B4 (high clamp).
Do You know any techniques how to check the interface or CPU states? I already saved the PMC ladder to the Memory Card and going to try a test with Fanuc Ladder, but have no ANY experience with that and maybe there is any easier way? Do You think that changing of the another module - the AIF01A would help? I already changed the AID/AOR and even the base...
