Hi I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. I have a DIY CNC and run DeskCNC. It's been a couple of months since I used it, and now all of a sudden I developed a problem. When I go to run DeskCNC it comes up with an error on startup. When opened it goes through the normal starting process, saying it has detected the controller but then says 'command timed out'
I thought this was a connection problem and after changing the serial cable and re-installed DeskCNC, I thought it must have been the serial port on my computer. After changing the computer and reinstalling the software again the problem is still there, arrrrrr, pulling my hair out so any help to fixing this problem would be very appreciated.
I have a project I really need to get done ASAP, so can someone please help.
