Help with the Harrison Alpha 550 machine - "SERVO ALARM"
Greetings to all, I hope you can help me, I tell you my problem:
In the company where we work we have a machine 600 Lathes Alpha 550 year 1996.
The other day we turned on the machine as usual and nothing strange happened. From one moment to another the machine threw "SERVO ALARM".
We turn it off and on again, after starting the system again shows "ALARM SERVO", and we can not do anything else.
The bad thing is that we do not have any manual of the machine due to the years.
I would like to know if anyone in the forum knows this machine or if it has information on it.
Attached image of the fault and details of the machine.
Thank you very much.

The PCBs from FANUC systems have inscription which begin so: A16B-xxxx-xxxx or A20B-xxxx-xxxx.
Re: Help with the Harrison Alpha 550 machine - "SERVO ALARM"
Hello agering, I can't find the PCB model number, tell me where to find it please.
greetings.
Re: Help with the Harrison Alpha 550 machine - "SERVO ALARM"
Except monitor all the PCBs on pictures do not look like products FANUC. May be Harrison developed this system.

Good morning, sorry for the delay.
The machine is stopped, but thanks to the manuals we can check the connections and find the fault. There are damaged cables in very bad condition. We assume this is the problem.
We must repair these cables and test the machine, but for now our staff is working on another machine, when we solve the problem I will comment in the forum.
Thanks for the help mbservice.
Re: Help with the Harrison Alpha 550 machine - "SERVO ALARM"
Good afternoon, I'm happy to tell the machine is operational. But now we need define the limit of each axes to avoid collision.
Please someone who knows how and where we can put this parameters.
Thank you.
Re: Help with the Harrison Alpha 550 machine - "SERVO ALARM"
What do you mean to avoid collision ? There are no limits on the Alpha 550
Re: Help with the Harrison Alpha 550 machine - "SERVO ALARM"
Hi mbservice, thanks again. According to operator before the repair, the machine has limits (overtravel) by software, not "limit switch".

Re: Help with the Harrison Alpha 550 machine - "SERVO ALARM"
Hi I have same fault on my screen (but it is not the cable) I have narrowed it down to the A16B-3200-0020 board, which is (As far as I understand) the main CPU/computer board, and after contacting a FANUC supplier he told me that I would need a backup of the settings for the lathe if I replace this board, but now that the board is broken I can not get the backup, and I believe there has no backup been made ever. So I was wondering if any of you guys could get a backup of your lathe and e-mail it to me?
