Hi I'm trying to fault find a drive and need to mimic the signals on CN2. I have a spare position/speed sensor but can't find the details for the temperature sensor.
can I use a resistor and if so what value should I use?

The sensor inside spindles and motors is usually a thermistor. There is no single standard, it could be anything from 1kOhm to 100kOhm. A 100k potentiometer should cover most cases. Adjust it slowly until the temperature alarm goes away.
