I have a smaller citizen and I’m running 3/8 rod at 3.845in long. At the back of the part there is a knurl that has to be .385 +-.001. For extra support I have the back spindle chucking up on the part at 3.500 with my spindles sync or used at 1500rpms. Right now the machine is alarming out with a low turret clamping torque on x1(main gang) before I can go the correct depth. Any ideas on how to fix this?
