Moving a Hawk 5m question

I am preparing to move a Hawk 5m 850 miles on a trailer and am concerned about the control console vibrating or bouncing during the ride.
Is it possible to remove it fairly easy and put it in the back seat of the truck for safe travel?
I have done a thorough search here and google and came up with nothing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
