MeccoMark PC failed, worth anything more than scrap?

Our production engraver failed after 10 years of service (20W fiber MeccoMark), seems to just be the PC control portion but Mecco doesn't service it and wants to push you to their newer model. Is anybody here familiar with these things? Would try to fix myself but frankly don't have the time to fiddle around with it. Local scrapper offered $500 for it, but I was going to try to sell within the makerspace community if any of it is salvageable and could be put to better use. Any ideas where I can find and talk to such groups? Located in southern New England. Here's some photos:
