Height Gauge Opinion

I need to purchase a height gauge for layout and general use. I am not doing any high precision projects. Does anyone have experience with either of these? Would I be better off with the digital or dial? I do understand these are no match for a Starrett or Mitutoyo. If you think these would be unusable can you point me to something in the less that $ 75 price range. Thanks.
