error 368 X AXIS : SERIAL DATA ERROR (INT)
Hi All,
Hoping that someone can help.
I have a FADAL 3016FX, Fanuc 0i control.
I have error 368 X AXIS : SERIAL DATA ERROR (INT)
I also had 364 X AXIS : SOFT PHASE ALARM (INT)
The plastic articulated track that retains the wires running under the table and to the motor on the right side of the table was somewhat damaged and some wires cut, so I took steps to repair and rejoin the wires, and also replaced the track.
This has worked for a while, but now I have the same problems again. But now I just have error 368 X AXIS : SERIAL DATA ERROR (INT)
What I'd really like to know is where those wire go to in the cabinet, so that I can check continuance between the cabinet and the motor to see if there's any other breaks in the cable that I missed, as I've had moments where the machine fired up and worked fine, but only for a couple of minutes.
If so I'll probably just replace the whole cable.
Any and all help is much appreciated.
Regards,
Matt.

This is Cesar Saldivar from México
We had this problem in a Chiron Machine in the Axis B
We found a broken wire in the pins of conector of the encoder and the conector of the driver B
we fixed the broken wires
After that, the alarm was delete
we are going to buy a new cable
Best Regards

Thanks.
However, I found that replacing the Fadal with a Haas was the best thing I ever did. ;-)
