Tormach 8L control for non Tormach lathe

Has anyone adapted the 8L control to a non Tormach lathe yet ?? I have converted a flatbed CNC lathe over to the 8L configuration. SO far everything works EXCEPT I cannot control the spindle speeds (S word). The spindle control is step to 0-10v and that part works. With a given step output I get a voltage output. But the control is not varying the output as it should. No matter what S value it stays the exact same value. Same with SSO no change in values I can stop the spindle and it goes to zero as it should. Anyone have an idea ?? I think it is something to do with the door safeties blocking the control. I do not get any errors concerning the doors.

IF I can get the spindle control working it IS going to be a SWEET conversion. ALSO can do PPWizards now so that is great as well as PP is limited in conversational programing. But Wizards are unlimited functions. You are only limited by your imagination.
