Could anyone tell me how a zero point for tool change should be determined? I know that the spindle has always to have the same position therefore and is controlled by Ini. We’ve got a Mahomat with the changer x24; year of manufacture is 1989. Does anyone know where and how I can determine it?

I believe you mean the changing position of a tool. You can only set with MCs. Look in your documentation (there’s a list of all MCs with explanations).
This position is determined in MCs for the axes X, Y and Z – the MC numbers may differ depending on the version.
Without guarantee I would mention MC237 (X), MC287 (Y) and MC337 (Z).
Be careful – the mechanics have their adjustment tools not for nothing…
