Enroute 5 Plus & Amana RC-2370 Insert Adjustable Chamfer Tool
Hi! I operate a CNT-950 Series CNC Router in a carpentry shop. I'm not sure how to account for the geometry of the Amana RC-2370 Insert Adjustable Chamfer cutter in Enroute 5 Plus.
Does anyone have any experience with this particular cutter or this Enroute package? Do I have to upgrade Enroute 5 Plus for the 3D features utilize this tool? Thanks!

It sounds like you want to put a chamfer on an edge of material correct?

Yes. I just realized my version of Enroute 6 doesn't allow for 3D toolpathing, can I get around that? Thanks.

What I've always done to get around that is to tell Enroute it's an Endmill who's diameter is the distance from point to point at the bottom of the tool. That way it runs the chamfer around the outer edge of your piece. Works for roundover bits as well.
