Spindle Motor Bearings
I have an Arrow 1000 and the spindle motor is starting to make a lot of noise.
I am assuming it is the bearings. My question is can I take this motor to a local shop and have it repaired or do I need to send this to a specialized repair facility? I thank you in advance for your answers and suggestions.

I had a noise coming from my Cin. and I thought it was the bearings turned out to be some hydraulic lines where clattering together. ON another Cin. I did have the spindle bearings go out and I replaced them myself not a hard task Just time consuming. Id check for anything loose before I tear into it.
Good Luck~!

I got back up on the machine this morning and for once I think I lucked out.
I haven't put a scope on it but it seems to me that the noise is actually coming from the fan. I'll tear into it this afternoon and see what I got.
Thanks guys.

Thats good news about the fan!
Always check for the simple stuff
I know of a guy that replaced his entire spindle...was a 2 month downtime just to start up the machine and it made the same exact noise...turnned out to be some loose sheet metal.....(nuts)
