Is it necessary to use the second chanel for cylindracal grinder based on Sinumerik 840Dsl (see kinematic scheme + general characteristics).
Second chanel is required for obtaining conic oscillation independantly of traverses along the workpiece contour. e.g. contour traverses (in the plane XY) are carried out in the NC program, oscillation of the Z-bushing and U-carriage of abrasive wheel is carried out in the second chanel. So, Z U are interpolated between each other for making the cone shape, XY are interpolated for obtaining the workpiece contour.
Is it necessary to use the second chanel for such technology task?
