Have you used it enough to determine if the Y axis chip shield works? I didn’t know if chips would jamb up against the table?

working on getting a spindle encoder mounted.. There isn't an easy way to mount an actual encoder - so I went with a gear and using gear tooth sensors..
Machined a gear and mounted it to the spindle pully (the gear was something we had laying around...) 36 tooth + index
