I have a problem with my VM1 Hurco machine
I had the battery fail CMOS problem and the CMOS Checksum error, I'd replace the RTC battery with the Dallas module replacement and the battery alarms dissapear, I can modify the BIOS setting, but now I have this problem the machine stay in this message Verifying DMI Pool Data and don't start, I have several floppy disks, but I don`t have the manual to know how restore the complete system.
Someone could help me please?
I need to restore all system or I can save the original hard disk?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Re: I have a problem with my VM1 Hurco machine
Sounds like you have the wrong CMOS settings for the hard disk. What did you set it as?
Re: I have a problem with my VM1 Hurco machine
I'd only change the boot sequence, starts with C, same fail, starts with D same fails, exists more settings to do?
Re: I have a problem with my VM1 Hurco machine
What are the hard drive settings?
Cylinders, heads, sectors?
LBA?
Re: I have a problem with my VM1 Hurco machine
ahh, it's in auto detection mode, but they are LBA 117, 231, 408, 60GB M5_P1
Re: I have a problem with my VM1 Hurco machine
Set them in CHS
3303 cyl
16 heads
Wpcom 65535
lzone 0
63 sectors
Then change to LBA
