AUTOMEC CNC 1000 square gage Fail 40 error,,

I have an AUTOMEC CNC 1000 Square gage on an Amada Punch. This Square gage had been disconnected over 6 months. I got it powered up, but the programming info in the display appears to be corrupt and the inserted info for example 36 in inserted but the right servo would travel 45 in. Also I have had an Failure code 40 : 1 KEY STUCK ,,,not sure How to get this unit back on the right measuring sequences per the commands.
The operated stated that the gage had worked fine before losing power.
