Grizzly G0704 CNC upgrade from automationtechnologys issues???

I orderd a Grizzly G0704 CNC upgrade from automationtechnologys and they directed me to procutcnc for support.
I am having a tough time as I am totally new to this. I am trying to assemble my z axis and have run into what I think is a snag.
The two bearings on the z axis motor bracket do not sit flush with the bracket. I don't mean a millimeter but at least 5mm or more proud from the surface on both sides.

I cannot see how this will work at all as the Bering races do not sit 100% on the machined surface for the ballscrew rod.
Can anyone send me a picture of your assembled z axis with nema34 mounted? Needs to be the procut or automationtech kit.

I have pictures but cant seem to get them to post. I can email if someone can compare to their part.

Had to tap down the bearing some on the top. Just paranoid to pound on stuff without talking to someone first
They were great and walked me through it.
