Which program to use
Hi,
I am completely new in this area of expertise and have a question.
I have looked through different recommendations of which programs to use for creating a sketch and then creating the cutting path (again completely new at this so the terminology might be off). So far I have settled on either Sketchup or Fusion 360. Since I have no experience in either 3d modelling or Cam I guess I might as well earn it proper and go the deep route i.e. Fusion360.
My question is then, is this a good choice? Will it work with the MicroMill, should I start with a simpler tool and so on?
Best Regards

Re: Which program to use
I'd recommend Fusion 360 since there are lot of Youtube tutorials available (on how to use the program itself, not for use with the MicroMill - but the exported g-code works with Grbl Panel)

Re: Which program to use
Thanks for the answer, I suspected as much and have started watching the tutorials on their site. It is really good to know that the g-code works with Grbl Panel! Thanks again :)

Re: Which program to use
for a quick test I'd recommend Easel - see the sticky "first project" thread above!

Re: Which program to use
Doh, it even mentions Fusion 360 in that thread. I should have read it one more time. Thanks again for your patience and help.
