Need to know if we can use these motors and drivers on our arduino board
So we found a printer that we were able to pull the motors out of and the circuit board they were connected to.
They are Minebea Stepper motors
Type: 17PM-K005-P5VT
No. T9Y15-D
3.15v
0.7a
1.8 Degree
The circuit board has 2 drivers for the motors
SLA7024MT(9D28) which some information can be found here: SLA7024MT - DRIVER SIP MOTOR SLA7024MT
Could we use this setup? or would it be easier to not use the circuit it has and just use a different driver?
They are 6 wire motors.

The 7024 is an older style unipolar driver. Your better off using a newer bipolar microstepping driver such as drv8825 or similar. Plenty of companies make Arduino stepper driver shields with the drv8825. Most 3D printers use them.
As far as the motor, don't know it's torque rating so can't give opinion.

I think the 8825 are better but both are good. I use 8825's.
