Rowmark, Innovative plastics are two brands I get.....
Get it from Ability Plastics: Ability Plastics HOME
I think their laserable plastics are the thinnest,.... not sure how thin the two color plastics go.
Be prepared for a WIDE variety of colors though, from plain to patterned to metallics !

Yes, but where can i actually buy these.. i think the manufacturers only tend to sell in larger quantities to business. I need like 2 x a4 sheets!

Ability will sell it to.. just give them a valid credit card and your on your way. If you think your future will require more, you should buy the sample books of actual pieces... lots and lots of variables.
I dont know of any supplier with a web cart though.... seems these guys are still living in darker times !

0.5mm is very thin. I know where to get 1.5mm thin/thick..
Maybe you could get white plastic & paint the surface black..(Or the other way around)?

didn't say it wasn't.... for the record it's 1.6 mm lamflex
Re: thin plastic material for engraving
It thought about that. Well actually using some sort of sticky-backed plastic.
But as this stuff is available, i rather would go with it. I don't trust that the paint would last as long as this type of material.

Damn close.. it think i will try the 0.8mm stuff and see if i can make it work. As i need the black surface... but then again, i could engrave the 0.2 stuff as negative... hmm.
Thanks for this!

You could also try face milling (from the back side) to make the 0.8mm -> 0.5mm if that's what you need.. (If you have a router/mill)
