Personal license 2020 changes to file export

Ransomware is a form of malware that encrypts a victim's files. The attacker then demands a ransom from the victim to restore access to the data upon payment.
Okay I'll admit ransomware is a bit over the top. I signed up with Autodesk fully knowing, or at least suspecting, that this was coming.
At the end of September non-paying Fusion users will only be able to export to mesh formats or save sketches as dxf..
I will be exporting my existing files as STEP to use in other software while it's still 'convenient'.
You may want to consider doing the same.

Apparently it will stïll be possible to export in step format using some form of web interface until January 2021:
You can still export your designs as STEP file formats via Fusion Team. This workflow will remain valid until Jan 19, 2021.

No warrenty is implied, etc. etc. Go blame Autodesk for changing the free tier. If you want to blame me for anything, blame me and my sense of ethics for feeling like I need to write this program in the first place.

Forget to clarify I haven't tested that add-on, I just found it amusing how quickly it happened.
Re: Personal license 2020 changes to file export
Step is back. :)
1000's whining in unison was too much for Autodesk to ignore ?
Re: Personal license 2020 changes to file export
Don't hold your breath.... AutoDesk is likely to pull the rug out from underneath you again. It is only a matter of time.
