Bumps on curves laser lines
Chinese 80w Trocen AWC laser has always given me rough cuts or lines. I've tightened pulleys, cog screws and belts but still get the bumps in exactly the same place when doing a circle.
If I reverse the line path they are still in same place. I've redrawn the circle in Lightburn and ran again.
I'm using Lightburn but also sent file with RDWorks and have same issue so it must be mechanical
Any help would be greatly appreciated..
Re: Bumps on curves laser lines
Question!
If you move the circle to a different location on the laser bed does it follow?
If it does I believe that would rule out mechanical
Either way I would be inspecting each cog of the belt for debis and broken cords in it.

You know looking at it closer it could be a loose coupling on the X axis

Re: Bumps on curves laser lines
You should be able to cut a circle out and spin it a full rotation in the wood it came from. That is most likely a mechanical problem.
