Traub TNC 42/65DGY lathe Servo Alarm, code 52 at drive display

Unit (TX 8F controls) starts up properly, can reference turret #1, trying to reference turret #2 not possible. Display changes with hand wheel or arrow key. The servo motors (X & Z axis) do not rotate. Unit faults out on a servo alarm, Code 52 (deviation error) at the drive (Mitsubishi MRS 12) seven segment displays.

I want to swap drives but cannot back up parameters. Is it possible to swap portions of the drives that don't contain parameters?

Any ideas as to what the problem is?
