Chinese 3018 CNC Software

Hi ,
I am new to this and have managed to get the Router working ok. The bit that I am finding a bit tricky is the Toolpath , tool selection and setting the number of passes required. I am using Inkscape and Grbl Controller. I have had a look at the Extension for Inkscape called GcodeTools but this seems to be a bit cumbersome and also seems to be dated about 2010. I am cutting wood outlines and just need to set up the tool and the number of passes required, is there a simple software program that will allow me to do this?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
