i'm thinking about buying a haas VF1 or a VF2 that i'll be placing initially in a garage 3 meters in height (about 118 inches). Are they the same height? and can they fit in that location?

Both the VF1 and the VF have the same exterior dimensions.
Total operating height required is 110" but I would recommend a little more than that.
Shipping height is 101" though.
After squeezing it through an overhead door on a forklift you'll have very little room to maneuver with....
