Need help Mazak Sqt 18M - Mazatrol T. Plus Over Travel

A friend of mine have this machine and he says he have an Over travel alarm and the machine can't move, even manually. We are in Colombia, at the time nobody seems to help him (even know how) , one technician say to him that he have to send the controller to the USA to check it. But maybe some knows what's happening and can help my friend.
