I suspect that this is also made in China. The difference is only in the inscriptions on the buttons.

Does not appear so, I've checked before making my statement. The same unit, different logo/brand, would be on the market and flooding already if from China (naturally).
Could well be from a 3rd European manufacturer, who am I to judge. Ask PlanetCNC

PS. the quality 2.4GHz antenna is what gives the impression it was engineered in-house...
It also works on Raspberry Pi.
Could anyone tell me if one could reprogram the wireless handwheel to operate axis X, A and Z? I have a rotary plasma tube cutter, so I use the rotary A-axis instead of a Y-axis, but the handwheel is pre-set to X, Y and Z only.
Cannot find any settings to adjust handwheel axis in the Settings/Handwheel section.
Any help appreciated.
It is not XYZ only. Shift + Cycle button on wireless handwheel switches between XYZ, ABC and UVW axes.

I have seen that it is possible to edit the Mappings of the buttons with the Handwheels.txt.
Is there maybe some additional configuration options planed for future? Or maybe is there already a way to do something like this:
Switching to position "C" (which currently only shows the settings) and select a Macro with the Jog Wheel from a predifined list which is displayed on the handwheel display and then execute the selected macro.
Reason is simple: On my "Old" CNC Controller, there where16 Buttons which could be labeled. There are enough buttons on the wireless handwheel, but changing them to my functions will make the icons useless and it would not be intuitive to use.
Seems like a good idea. I'll add this to TODO list.
