Connecting 500V to laptop

Looking to download existing programs in the machine, and load in new.
500V m5x with yasnac mx-1

Ive never hooked a machine to a lap top, :o So holding my hand and spoon feeding would be most appreciated! Ive got a 232 cable from the mill to the laptop. I can also try to hookup to a milltronics centurion 4 controller first if that would help. I REALY do not want to lose the programs already written in the Matsuura! Tried multiple searches, but have come up totally empty here and on just google.

I also have bobcad v23 if that could help with communication.
