PRT-E1500W 110V VFD SETTINGS for USB CNCEST-6040T
Help on VFD Settings,
I Have the PRT-E1500W 110V VFD USB CNCEST-6040T
I have contacted the supplier and get no response if my setting are correct for this CNC.
Can some one with the same Machine or knowledge of the setting can tell me if this is correct!
I made some changes to the 199 d-codes and now it runs with pc and manual, were before the spindle would not, Manual or Mach3 PC.
I got this list from the net but the post was for a 220V spindle and mine is 110V.
I also could not change d072 => 1000 it is at 0000 now! is this a problem?
I also noticed that d021 => 50 and other posts say 400 is this a problem?
Can some one check there d-codes and compare. I really don’t want to take a chance that the codes are wrong before I start using this CNC.
Thanks for any input.

Take a look at this thread... the second post has a link to the most comprehensive manual I've seen on these VFD's.

Just click on the download button (for english or french) and get ready to be amazed! :) Be sure to thank etiennebertrand for taking the time to put this together!
It appears that d072 has to do with the PID functions which you most likely don't have (it's a feed back sensor from the spindle) If d070 = 0 then don't worry about it as PID is not implimented.
d021 appears to be the max freq for "multifunction mode"... not even sure what that is but it shouldn't have any effect unless you're using that mode.
I have the same machine 110v 1500W (although it's a 6090 4 axis) but have not got it set up yet, need to build a bench. But I'm sure with the help of the manual I won't have any problems.
Hope this helps!
Also if you haven't seen this thread be sure to go through it as well, lots of good info.

You must use a washer on the bolt to lock the head in the track.

Another bit of important info for mach3 install the instructions weren't clear at first but the English Crack! is to copy the correct files from "engraver" folder it creates to mach3 folder. Page 6 install manual Attached.

I'm overall very happy with this purchase. I think it is a great bargain for the cost!
I wonder if the cost are going to increase now with Chinese Tariffs!!

First project with Diamond Drag Bit I'm amazed at this CNCEST accuracy The Dragons eye pupal is 1mm in diameter.
I used Vectric Vcarve Desktop very nice program easy to learn.
The drag bit was found on ebay very good bit! reasonable price.
